Working in multiple mediums is necessary for my process. I find each medium brings a new avenue to explore, ideas to develop, and new ways to reach out to others. I feel my art is at its strongest when I am open to the world around me. I try to be a like a sponge and take in as much as a can, and let what I deem unnecessary to drip out. Going out and having a simple conversation may lead to my next piece. I’m always searching for the next best idea or vibe that inspires me. So far, my works have been reflecting on human comforts as well as concerns. Two totally different things but with some finesse I try and make connections with the two. Considering my 119Home Series.
